Britain’s VAT rate is increasing to 20 per cent in January, the highest in 37-years. Despite the challenges ahead, as the country’s premier aparthotel brand we’re prepared to foot the increased cost to guests, and pass on the savings. By absorbing the additional 2.5 per cent until March 2011, we continue to offer our guests the best value.
We already offer inclusive local and national calls, Apple Mac in selected apartment types, complementary wi-fi and Grab & Go breakfast. This new VAT-busting initiative shows the business is keen to stay one step ahead of the competition, and ease the burden caused by wholesale changes to the UK’s economic structure.
No-one knows how the economy will fair come January 2011, but we’re doing our bit to help the man on the street, and businesses alike. By absorbing the additional 2.5 per cent, we believe we’re clearly placing ourselves as the best affordable luxury accommodation in the cities where we operate.
We hope to see you return to one of our aparthotels in the near future!
