What do you think of our new hotel in Newcastle?

Posted on: No Comments

Wow – our city centre hotel is now open in Newcastle and our guests have been giving us fabulous reviews…

“Beautiful boutique hotel – slept so well!! :)”

“This hotel is well worth visit. You won’t want to leave your room!

The whole design is amazing. I totally love the old style building with the modern details. The fixtures and fittings are luxurious, the kitchen is a great place to hang out and have a glass of wine before heading out into town and the bed is so comfy! I could’ve slept for a week!!

The staff were really helpful and friendly and the location of the hotel is perfect for the station and the centre of town.

I highly recommend the Roomzzz hotel – get it booked!! ;)  ”

“Enjoyable, comfortable stay!”

Don’t forget that if you want an “Enjoyable, comfortable stay!” – you should book into our city centre hotel in Manchester!

5 of 5 starsReviewed 3 November 2012

Me & my boyfriend stayed here recently for a weekend break.

I was highly impressed with the room, we were allocated a duplex suit on the top floor. As we had requested, we had a bath in the bathroom, complete with TV! (I loved this!) Also there was a huge sized modern shower. The duplex itself was clean, modern and had all the amenities you would expect with an added few extras. I felt the Apple Mac computer in the room was a nice touch.

The bed was a superking memory foam and was sooo comfortable! We slept very well despite being in the middle of Manchester. You can’t avoid the traffic noise, however we felt we didn’t hear much. Also, we heard very little from other rooms (considering there was a hen party in the penthouse suite this was very good!!) as sometimes you can hear every little thing but we really had a peaceful nights sleep.

The location is perfect, just on the edge of China Town and within walking distance to everywhere we needed/wanted to be. We walked to the MEN arena, in and around the town centre and around Spinningfields. We found ourselves no more than 10-15 minute walk away from the apartment at all times.

We found staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off at 2am on our last night however, we were assured we didn’t have to evacuate and it was just a power cut. The staff couldn’t have been more apologetic.

The breakfast ‘Grab and Go’ was really tasty, fresh pastries, fruit and fruit juices to take up to the apartment. There was also a ‘Pantry’ area where you could buy snacks, pizzas and pastas to cook yourself.

Overall, a really pleasant stay! We would definately reccomend staying here if you’re visiting Manchester and if you want to stay central.

“Cosy and Stylish Aparthotel” – what a perfect description of our city centre hotel in Manchester!

We loved our room at Roomzz Aparthotel. It was big enough to feel spacious with kitchenette and bedroom cleverly designed around each other but compact enough to feel cosy, especially after a days shopping on a cool autumn day. Big comfortable bed, high celings, apple mac streaming music into the room. What more could you ask for! Located in central Manchester, less than 10 mins walk from the Arndale Shopping centre and all the surrounding shops, bars, restaurants etc. The ‘grab and go’ breakfast really is ‘grab and go’ with no plates but you can take it up to your kitchenette, which is fully stocked, and enjoy it there with your free newspaper. Cheerful, helpful staff. We’ll definitely come back!

We’ve been having some international visitors to our city centre hotel in Leeds... check out what Amit V from India wrote about us…

“Nothing less then a 5/5”

This is the most perfect hotel I have seen in my journey to UK. Its close to city center, paid car park just across the street, Indian stores & hotels close by :) and above all a warm and pleasant welcome and friendly staff. What more can I say, there is even a Bargain Booze just a block away!

The stay was just perfect. Only recommendation would be to open up the HDMI ports on the 40″ TV so that we can watch movies via the laptops (on a weekend).

TripAdvisor has awarded this hotel with their “Certificate of Excellence”.

Have stayed here before returned because it was so good. Stayed one night on 11th Sept – from checking in to leaving the staff were exceptional in their positive and helpful attitude. Safe environment especially when you’re on your own as a woman. Room (with balcony though not all have them) was immaculate and spacious. TV and free wifi great. Location excellent for shopping and restaurants. In good location for free delivery from takeaways which I did – soul food from Teds kitchen, Grab and go breakfast – croissants orange juice fruit coffees etc Would recommend this hotel easily.
Room Tip: ask for a room with a balcony – no extra cost usually

“Best night’s sleep ever”

This hotel turned out way better than I expected. On arrival we were upgraded to a lovely room set on 2 floors with a spiral staircase…way more than we were expecting. The room was amazingly quiet and dark and peaceful and for the first time ever I managed to get a proper night of sleep in a hotel. The free breakfast in the morning was also great with delicious warm pastries. We’ll definitely be back again!

“An excellent last minute find”

A really great place to stay. The staff (especially the romanian lady) were very professional and helpful. The room was more than adequate for what we needed. The location is ideal for exploring Leeds. The grab and go breakfast which was included was certainly welcome. I will definitely stay here again.

“Way Above the Rest – Completely Excellent”

Wow… completely excellent… we like that one! It’s what a guest from Australia wrote about our city centre hotel in Manchester
5 of 5 stars
“My mum and I stayed here for a total of three nights (two at the start and one at the end of our time in the UK) and absolutely loved it. We stayed in a different room each night and all of them, though not large, were stylish, unique and full of little touches that made them far superior to the usual hotel. The old building is full of character and has been thoughtfully renovated, particularly through the use of skylights.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and it’s good to know that there is someone available 24 hours a day. Although we had to change rooms after our first night, our suitcases were simply moved for us while we were out during the day, and we were upgraded to a lovely apartment with a loft level. I particularly appreciated the free wifi and the Apple computer in each room!

We found the location to be very central, and we could easily walk or take a free bus to everywhere we wanted to go. The ‘grab ‘n’ go’ tea, coffee and pastries available for an informal breakfast are a great idea – not being huge breakfast eaters we enjoyed being able to either read the paper or watch the news in the lounge, or take some back to our room while getting ready for the day.

Overall, absolutely excellent and really no negatives worth mentioning. Very highly recommended!”
