This week our Treasure Hunt will lead the winner to Manchester so we’ve been looking at what they could spend their time doing when they stay in our city centre hotel!

Second time to Manchester this year and this time there was no question were to stay. Our stay at Roomzzz back in May was a success, and so was it this time. We stayed there from monday 21.November until wednesday, traveling from Oslo for the CL game at Old Trafford. We lived at second floor with windows out to the crossroad, but it was very litle noise in the room. Once again we loved the stay, and next time we go to Manchester we wil definitely stay at Roomzzz.

Love it! Our hotel in Manchester city centre gets such lovely feedback it makes us very proud!

Now onto today’s business and another clue and the third word…

Clue 8: Visit our Manchester hotel on our website – check out the penthouse suite the first part our our clue is the last letter on the first line…

The second letter is the first letter of the third sentance of the last paragraph on this same page!

I regularly have to travel to Manchester for work and use Roomzzz every time, as long as it’s available. The concept is great, smartly furnished studio flats with your own kitchen, a sofa and use of a Mac laptop. It’s convenient, everything always works and the staff are excellent, so good in fact you barely notice that they’re there, I feel at home every time. The grab and go breakfast is good quality and a great option when you’ve got a morning meeting. I’ve grown tired of hotel living but I always look forward to my stays at Roomzzz.
 
Room Tip: The superior rooms have a TV over the bath, unnecessary but cool!

This is a fabulous alternative to traditional hotel. Excellent studio apartments, brilliantly equipped. No minimum stay. Daily cleaning service. Great price. If you don’t want to go outside to shop for food, good selection of readymeals, drinks (including wine), goodies available for purchase from the 24 hour reception. Fabulous service from every member of staff – nothing seems to be too much trouble. Two minutes walk from station and centre of town. Cannot think of a single aspect to criticise! If this franchise doesn’t thrive and spread to the rest of the country then there is no justice….!!!
Room Tip: If you are going to stay more than once, then pick up a ‘royalty club’ card from reception – you immediately get 10% discount

Sunshine on a rainy day….

Well we’ve gone from one extreme to the other weather wise at the moment… will it ever stop raining? Roomzzz Manchester is almost breathtaking on arrival the building is beautiful and as you enter the attenti…on to detail is lovely. I haven’t stay’d in every room in manchester but know all are different and special in there own way. The room we stayed in was spacious and very clean, it was like a little home away from home with all the things you could and would expect from a high class hotel. I would recommend roomzzz Manchester to any1 and also roomzzz Leeds. As well as all i’ve just said the staff are gr8! They go out there way to make you feel welcome and are friendly :) “

Top Tips…


Ah another lovely sunny day dawns and we’re a day closer to the weekend and to our April Showers promotion!

As you will probably have heard by now April has a number of long weekends for you to enjoy and where better than the luxury and comfort of Roomzzz? All you have to do is book a room at Roomzzz Aparthotel in either Leeds or Manchester between 1st April and 8th May 2011 and we will give you a night in a luxury aparthotel from £39 per night…. what could be nicer?

But that’s not what we’re here for today… no today is the day we review our activities of choice for weekend’s in Leeds and Manchester … Now both cities are famed for their shops, they both have a branch of Harvey Nichols BUT they both also have thriving craft centres, outlets for the independent creative talent which both cities are also famed for! So why not take a turn off the high street and delve into these melting pots for truly unique jewellery, art, ceramics, furniture…. you get the picture!

In Leeds we have the Craft Centre & Design Gallery which is in Leeds City Art Gallery on The Headrow – currently they are exhibiting their annual striking ring exhibition, they research the market to include ten established jewellers and their ring designs. ‘Rings’ explores the technical and aesthetic qualities of rings and brings together a diverse collection.


In Manchester we have the fabulous Craft and Design Centre – a long established lifeline for Manchester shoppers in search of unique items – this sounds vague but I can’t do justice to the array of arts and crafts available here! The Craft Centre sits on Thomas Street which is in the Northern Quarter – Manchester’s latest area of regeneration and growth – I’d like to think that the Craft Centre acted as a magnet for this developement!
