“Great for the price”

I booked a one-night stay at Roomzzz via Laterooms.com for £49 including breakfast. For the price and purpose of my stay (somewhere to crash after a night out in Leeds) it was perfect. I was in a studio apartment, which comprised a double bed, sitting area, kitchenette and separate shower room.

The room was clean and well appointed, with more facilties than I was expecting or needed (fridge, dishwasher, microwave, safe, Mac…). Despite my room overlooking Swinegate, a main road in Leeds leading up to the train station, it was very quiet.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful (and patient when I was having problems with my PIN number).

Breakfast is served in a grab-and-go area, the idea being that you take what you want from a selection of pastries, fresh fruit and tea and coffee, and go back up to the room to eat. Frankly, I was too hungover to eat, but it looked delicious!

Location is excellent – only a 2 minute walk to the train station and a minute away from Briggate and The Calls.
