2011 is already proving to be a busy year for the Dum Dum Girls, having announced US tour dates for Feb/March, a brand new EP, “He Gets Me High” for 1st March 2011 and now, the band have confirmed UK dates for March and April!

Produced by lead Dum Dum Girl Dee Dee as well as songwriter (“My Boyfriend’s Back”, “I Want Candy”) and producer (Blondie, the Go-Go’s) Richard Gottehrer, (he also produced I Will Be) and the Raveonettes’ Sune Rose Wagner. This 4 track EP features 3 new songs as well as a cover of The Smiths’ ‘There is a Light’. According the press release the production “sonically propels the band into a new and exciting direction – out of their lo-fi bedroom pop and into full time dwellers in the house of punky pop rock”.
