 Our accommodation in Leeds City Centre is a bit hit for a night out!

Stayed here for one night with a friend in November 2011 as we wanted a night out in Leeds. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel was great, it was 15 mins walk to the city centre and 2mins in a taxi which was very cheap! We even got to stay an exta 2 hours in the morning for £10.00 which I thought was ideal with a hangover! Rooms are very modern, spacious, clean and tidy. Could not fault this aparthotel at all! :)

So far so good…

Yesterday we announced our new Friday Favourites competition and we’ve had a fantastic response, maybe it’s the sunshine but many of you are in the mood for a night away and have been tapping away to tell us about your favourite Roomzzz things!

Jon Winter – has to be the power shower and the imac, we stayed @the one on swinegate, could roll into a bed 2mins from a club:)

Christopher Pearson – memory foam beds, apple macs and a kitchen! What more could you want? Oh and it’s cheaper than some hotels are anyway!

Andrew Byrne – It just feels like home…can’t be beaten !

Paul Cooper – Me and my wife had a fab visit to Leeds City at the beginning of the month. The staff were very helpful, studio was of a high standard and location was great. Thank

Ashliegh Turton – I love the fact that you don’t even need to leave your room when you get to Roomzzz ….. not that you would want to! ;-)

Amy Wright – We first went because it was just as cheap as a travel lodge but a million times better, everything you need is there more than just a place to sleep, haven’t stayed anywhere else since for 3 years

John Kirkham – Ah let me finish! It keeps out the sunshiiiiine when I’m feeling low but makes me feel supersonic when feeling high. Mwa!

Christopher Pearson – Perfect location, mac mini, free wifi, kitchen, power shower, beautifully decorated. Perfect for an overnight stay in the city! Next stay… The emperor suite!!!

It’s that time of year again… when we launch yellow plastic ducks into the Irwell, shout at them as they travel along the river, hopefully making it over the finish line!


The race starts at 2pm on Friday 23rd April from Irwell Square in Spinningfields Manchester, thousands of ducks are sent down the river – anyone can take part with ducks costing just £1 and all proceeds being donated to Brainwave. It’s a great day out for all the family and there are lots of fantastic prizes to be won also!


Across the hills in Leeds on that day you can visit the Good Food Friday festival at The Corn Exhchange – a celebration of the best of Leeds’ independent food producers and chefs with over 30 stalls, competitions and cook offs happening throughout the day!
