Thanks to Gemma Cullen for this one!
Wow, we had great news last week – we have been awarded the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence because we have obtained a quantity of quality reviews over the past 6-months… this confirms that we are doing a great job and that our guests agree!
And to prove it… here’s the latest review for Manchester
on 20th July from Beverley T in Kent:
“I travel for work every week all over the country, and everytime I am in Manchester this is the place I choose. I simply won’t look elsewhere. I’ve tried most hotels and apartments in Manchester (my previous preference until I found Roomzzz was the MacDonald).
The apartments are modern and spacious and I’ve stayed in virtually all from the cheapest right to their most expensive/largest. I’ve never had a room that wasn’t fantastic.
The staff are friendly and helpful (especially Keith) and I can’t recommend this place enough. The location is fantastic just a short walk from the shops and the station. The mini shop in reception is always welcome when I am in need of a snack and the breakfast is all you need to get you started. If you want eggs and bacon – cook it yourself!!
I’ve stayed many times, and will stay many more. This place is everything you need at a really reasonable price.
Room Tip: If you want a bath – remember to ask as not all rooms have them.”
Well it’s Monday again and to cheer us up and prepare us for the week ahead we’ve been reading the fabulous reviews being written about us by our lovely guests… and this week my favourite comes from Facebook…
Fatema Bee – Returned from a 2 night stay in Roomzzz Manchester and I just wanted to say thank you to Paris and Joanne who made the experience so lovely. You guys are brilliant at your jobs and do an excellent job in making your guests feel so welcome.
Thank you for also sorting out the room problem I faced so promptly. See you guys soon again
Roomzzz Aparthotel Manchester Do you know what… getting comments like this makes it all worth while…! Thank you and look forward to seeing you soon…
Fatema Bee I agree. Well, credit where credit is due. I have stayed at Roomzzz Manchester about 5 times now and every visit is brilliant. Is there any chance you can pass on my message to Joanna and Paris? I should think they remember who I am as I spent a considerable amount of time talking to them both.
Roomzzz Aparthotel Manchester I will do indeed… am sure they’ll be really pleased! Thanks x
Really love these comments from Fatema…. and we look forward to seeing her again soon!
As we’re into April now and as you know there are a couple of long weekends to deal with and the Easter Holidays, I thought today I’d take a look at what’s going on in Yorkshire throughout April. We have three Roomzzz hotels in Leeds and as the hub of the county what better place to position yourself for exploring?
David Hockney: Bigger Trees Near Warter at York Art Gallery – 10th Feb – 22nd June - on loan from Tate, is the largest painting the artist has ever produced. This is your chance to see it as it is the first time the painting has been seen in Britain outside of London.
The Railway Children Weekend 30th April – 2nd May – the steep gradient up the Worth Valley from the Keighley terminus has been a challenge for locomotives ever since the line opened on 15th April 1867. The sound of a steam engine tackling this climb echoes from the steep sides of the valley, while great clouds of steam and smoke add drama to the scene.
Dales Festival of Food & Drink 30th April – 2nd May – If you enjoy food, drink and are looking for a place to go on a bank holiday week end, you need to head for Leyburn in Wensleydale. The three day Dales Festival of Food and Drink is a feast of gastronomic delights with a distinctly local flavour.
Harrogate Spring Flower Show 4th – 17th April – over 90 of the UK’s leading horticultural nuseries, fruit and veg, floristry, crafts and gifts, cookery and food marquee and garden sundries. All on display at the Great Yorkshire Show Ground.
AND don’t forget to follow us on Facebook for Leeds and Manchester… we’ll be drawing the winner of our Friday Favourites competition on Thursday!
