I booked this for my husbands birthday and we loved it. I booked a studio apartment on the top floor as I’d read that you got a balcony, this was a great added bonus. The bed was comfy, bathroom lovely, iMac great and kitchen was a bonus. Will definitely use Roomzzz when we go to Manchester. Very cheap too, especially with the loyalty card :)

Wow – what an awesome place to stay, very close to all the local amenities, the room was super stylish and modern, its larger than it looks on the photos, theres free internet and the staff are very friendly.

I would recommend this to anybody thinking of staying in the local area. The only downside is that there is no hotel parking, on the steet parking has a limit of 30-minutes at certain intervals although there is a city council car park across the road.

I regularly have to travel to Manchester for work and use Roomzzz every time, as long as it’s available. The concept is great, smartly furnished studio flats with your own kitchen, a sofa and use of a Mac laptop. It’s convenient, everything always works and the staff are excellent, so good in fact you barely notice that they’re there, I feel at home every time. The grab and go breakfast is good quality and a great option when you’ve got a morning meeting. I’ve grown tired of hotel living but I always look forward to my stays at Roomzzz.
 
Room Tip: The superior rooms have a TV over the bath, unnecessary but cool!

This is a fabulous alternative to traditional hotel. Excellent studio apartments, brilliantly equipped. No minimum stay. Daily cleaning service. Great price. If you don’t want to go outside to shop for food, good selection of readymeals, drinks (including wine), goodies available for purchase from the 24 hour reception. Fabulous service from every member of staff – nothing seems to be too much trouble. Two minutes walk from station and centre of town. Cannot think of a single aspect to criticise! If this franchise doesn’t thrive and spread to the rest of the country then there is no justice….!!!
Room Tip: If you are going to stay more than once, then pick up a ‘royalty club’ card from reception – you immediately get 10% discount

Hope you’ve all had a nice weekend? We’ve had a busy one here at Roomzzz... lots of lovely weekend guests – many related to students moving into new cities…  starting a new stage in life is very exciting!

My wife and I stayed for one night on a city weekend break while dropping our daughter at University. We loved the city centre (very upmarket shopping and nicely priced restaurants) and this aparthotel blew us away. A large modern room with excellent facilities inc fridge, wasing machine and dishwasher. As it happens, we didnt need them but the room was very clean with modern furnishings. There is no breakfast but good coffee, pastries and fruit juice are available in the lobby. We would definitely stay again.
Elbowsoff wrote this lovely review – nothing makes us happier than people who consider canceling their plans and just kicking back with us!

This is our 3rd stay in a year and it was great to be welcomed by Keith again who has always made our stay special. My 13 year old daughter and I stayed on Friday 9 September for a birthday treat to go to The Royal Exchange. She loved everything about the Liberty Suite which had a fantastic bank of large windows around the corner of the building. The view was brilliant and they were all shuttered with black out blinds and sound proofing. There was no noise from the street below. Nearby are loads of mini supermarkets so we made use of the kitchen facilities and it was a bit of a call whether to go to the theatre we were enjoying the room so much. Then of course the hot chocolate machine in the lobby was truly a 13year old’s dream.

On returning we watched a film and there was no noise from other rooms so I wonder about the reviews mentioning noise as the hotel was very busy. Thank you to Keith who made us feel again like valued regular customers. We will be ringing this Friday hoping for a cancellation on Saturday 17th. Fingers crossed.

 
Room Tip: All the rooms are fabulous but if your want views of the city ask for a room on the 2nd 3rd or 4th floors. The fifth floor rooms are still great and have loads of velux windows.

October in Yorkshire!

Oooo think October might be almost my favourite month of the year… what do you think? Leaves on the ground – jumpers out again, nice snuggly boots? What’s not to love…? OK so it gets dark earlier but only for six months!

We thought we’d take a look at what’s happening around Yorkshire in the hope that we can tempt you into one of our fabulous Leeds establishments…

1st – 2nd October – UK Pro Surf Event in Scarborough – Amazing surfing plus skateboarding, BMX & extreme sports. Also enjoy live music, DJ’s, performances, drive-in movies and more. This is an Xtreme sports extravaganza not to be missed.

Steam Gala on the Worth Valley Railway – made famous by the film the Railway Children – in Howarth – and let’s not forget the Bronte connection!

The Great Yorkshire Run takes place in Sheffield on the 9th October.

Illuminating York Festival from 26th – 29th October sees the annual digital arts and lighting festival which invites visitors and residents alike to rediscover York in a new light!

And then we have a journey to the dark side for a terrifyingly entertaining night to remember. For Five Nights only York Maze becomes your worst nightmare. Hallowscream, is an advance ticket only night time event for teenagers and adults who should know better – from the 26th – 30th October.

“Amazing anniversary!”

Struggled finding the hotel but called the reception on route, the receptionist provided excellent directions and we arrived within a matter of minutes.

Check in – quick and easy, receptionist polite and informative.
Room – 505, was located on the top floor and was amazing, clean, and spacious and very well thought out, a/con helped as room on the top floor and was quite warm. Apple mac computer including free wi-fi was a very nice touch not to mention the TV in the bathroom!!
Location – Excellent would recommend for any occasion in Manchester.
