The only slight gripes I had was the room took a while to heat up and being january I did feel a bit cold when I first arrived – it took a good 2 hours before it felt warm. It would have been nice to have a heated towel rail in the bathroom, & lighting suitable for applying make up (!!). But really these are minor gripes and didn’t affect my stay.
Overall I would say if you want luxury accommodation in manchester and you like the freedom of self catering this is a good value option. I would stay here again.

“Probably the finest exhibition site for sculpture in the world.” Bill Packer, Financial Times
“In my experience, you get things from visiting these 500 acres of rolling rural north that are rarely available at other art locations.” Waldemar Januszczak, The Sunday Times
“A great way to combine culture, exercise and fresh air for all the family.” The People
There was enough closet space for an overnight stay, and also a little in-room safe. The room faced to the rear of the building, and was very quiet with little noise, despite over stay being on the weekend. The bed was very comfortable. If there was one thing I wasn’t so keen on, the air conditioning didn’t warm the room up as well as I’d have liked. But that aside, we had a very pleasant stay. I would certainly be happy to return, and would also recommend the hotel to friends.
