Leeds City Reviewed on Trip Advisor

Omsall from Birmingham left us this review of Leeds City!

“Woah”

5 of 5 starsReviewed 14 November 2011

Wow – what an awesome place to stay, very close to all the local amenities, the room was super stylish and modern, its larger than it looks on the photos, theres free internet and the staff are very friendly.

I would recommend this to anybody thinking of staying in the local area. The only downside is that there is no hotel parking, on the steet parking has a limit of 30-minutes at certain intervals although there is a city council car park across the road.

James M from Toulouse had this to say…

“Brilliant….”

Win a weekend @ Roomzzz…

Posted on: No Comments

Well here it is….  the final week of this month’s  Roomzzz Treasure Hunt! Are you a Roomzzz Treasure Hunter? If not… why not?
This week our lucky winner gets to win a weekend in Roomzzz Leeds City… a whole weekend… on us… and all you have to do is follow the clues…

So what could you expect at check in?

36 luxurious apartments with one and two bedrooms to choose from, each one has been individually designed to create a stylish interior where you’ll feel totally at ease. And as you’d expect, every apartment is fully kitted out with all mod-cons such as an Apple Mac, an integrated safe and a widescreen LCD TV.
Harvey Nichols the lavish department store and the shopping quarter – home to international chains and independent shops are all within walking distance, and Leeds Railway Station is just under 5 minutes walk away, an apartment here puts you right where the action is.
Grab & Go complimentary breakfast is always available between 6.30am and10.30am to kick start your day, including hot drinks, pastries and fruit. We’ve thought of everything, so you can experience Leeds the way you want.
What are the apartments like?
Our Smart studios have been cleverly thought out to provide you with a thoroughly functional, yet highly stylish living space. The open-plan design includes a well-equipped compact kitchen for preparing lavish lunches or late-night snacks. And there’s a host of clever features like the super-comfy memory foam bed, the combination wardrobe/bookcase and the desk that doubles as a dining table. For comfort and practicality, it’s the smart choice.
Five top floor Smart studios enjoy the added luxury of, you guessed it, a balcony – the perfect vantage point from which to survey city life.

Step into one of our Grande studios (accessible) and you’ll immediately be struck by the light, airy feel of the open-plan interior. Everything’s been arranged to give you the extra space you need to relax in complete comfort. There are double or twin options available. Worked up an appetite in the city? The large L-shaped kitchen provides everything you need for dining in, or for late-night snacking.

Space to stretch out. Space to relax. Space to live. That’s the thinking behind the Liberty suite. Here, you’ll discover a generously-proportioned open-plan living area with a good-sized kitchen, fully-equipped of course, and a dining table for sharing pasta, papers and opinions. There’s a separate bedroom, fitted with a stylish walnut wardrobe and dressing table. And because we know how hard it’ll be to leave your incredibly comfortable bed, we’ve added a wall-mounted plasma screen in there too.
Travelling as a family group? There’s no need to compromise, either on comfort or style. The Maxima suite features a master double bedroom overlooking the grand elevations of Sovereign Street, along with all the usual refinements such as fitted walnut furniture and a wall-mounted plasma screen. There’s also a second bedroom with bunks, desk and wardrobe – an ideal, and separate, space for the younger members of your party. In between, there’s a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area, as well as acres of comfy seating where you can spread out and plan your days together.
So all you have to do is stay tuned to the Roomzzz blog and Facebook this Friday…. work out the clues… post your answer onto our facebook page in either Leeds or Manchester, tell us you’re a Roomzzz Treasure hunter and if you’re right, you’re in the draw…. Happy hunting!

“Perfect in Every Way!”

Reviewed 14 November 2011 NEW

Just back from my first stay at Roomzzz Aparthotel, Manchester. It was fantastic!!

Car parking was very close by in the recommended car park and was discounted by the hotel. so was only £12 for an overnight.

On arrival we were met by a lovely receptionist, who was extremely helpful, telling us the best places to eat etc and she printed us out a map.

The room was brilliant!! I couldn’t believe the amount of facilities in the room. The bed was lovely and clean and comfortable. The kitchen area amazing, I couldn’t believe there was even a dishwasher in the room!! There was just nothing more you could want. The shower was great, with lovely unusual fittings in the bathroom. The TV and free computer were great too.

There was a grab and go breakfast, which was great…..pastries, fruit, tea and all kinds of coffee. Took some back to the room and had it there.

On checking out the receptionist asked us if we wanted to take any of the breakfast things with us, which was lovely (we didn’t take any!!)

All in all an absolutely perfect stay and would not hesitate in returning and would recommend to anyone!! Thank you so much Roomzzz!! x

Festivities in Leeds!

Posted on: No Comments
We’ve been hunting around for our favourite things to do around Leeds this Christmas – thanks to Visit Leeds for these ideas below:-
You don’t need to swap Leeds for Lapland this year for a truly festive experience – your favourite attractions have got plenty of fun planned.
Enjoy the superb Christmas Fair at Harewood House, with a wide range of shops and stands selling all kinds of seasonal food and gifts, plus a brand new magical Santa’s grotto.
Visitors toThe Christmas Adventure at Stockeld Park can enjoy a host of exciting events such as the reindeer parade and treasure hunts, and from dusk, illuminations add to the magic. Have a go on the eco ice rink, get lost in the snowflake maze or see the mystical creatures living in the enchanted wood.

This Christmas, Kirkstall Abbey and Abbey House Museum are hosting  craft making sessions, Santa’s grotto, tree dressing days and outdoor carol concerts this year, so wrap up warm and go and enjoy the fun!

Temple Newsam House is beautifully trimmed for a Victorian Christmas and here you can enjoy evenings of musical entertainment along with mince pies, hot chocolate and mulled wine. You can even visit the living nativity and Santa’s grotto in Home Farm- complete with snow!
And best of all… once you’ve had your fill of the festivities you can go back to Roomzzz and relax! Go online now and make your booking www.roomzzz.co.uk!

We have stayed for 3 nights in this apart hotel and it was a great experience! The room was very clean and neat and the bed was comfy. Also, the kitchenette had everything including a wok, which made cooking easier and faster. The grab and go breakfast included fresh croissants, sweet pastries and fresh fruit which is also very convenient if you’re in a rush! … The apple tv installed in the room was great, perfect for checking out the weather and news online :)

The only downside is that the parquet floors are a bit squeaky and noisy when you step on them. But it is only a minor issue.

Would definitely stay in this hotel next time I visit Manchester!

Usually stay in hotels when away, but loved this apartment hotel. The facilities in the room were excellent, we had the basic studio apartment and had everything we needed. I real mini home from home. Everything was clean, and the bed was lovely and soft. My only complaintwas the noise, we could hear the floor boards squeaking when people walked around in the apartment upstairs, also the doors on the other rooms banged very loud, and woke me in the morning.
