Manchester and Leeds may seem a million miles away from Manhattan and LA, but appearances can be deceiving. As we’ve discovered, our Roomzzz are regularly housing stars from the region and beyond.
Our unique approach to accommodation has already caught the eye of major sporting figures, no doubt in part thanks to our opulent Suites reminding them of their own exclusive pads. Our Manchester City site has welcomed world class snooker talent to town, though the appeal seems to be too much even for locals to resist, as reservations from members of both City and United’s entourage have shown.
Down the M62 and over the Pennines, Leeds pulls in visitors by the thousands each week. Until recently it was the UK’s favourite city, and the fastest growing metropolis in Europe. It’s big on shopping and bigger on nightlife, but that’s only half the story. A huge football heritage means the city speaks sport, and stars from teams like Leeds United have enjoyed Grab and Go Breakfasts after staying with us.
Whether you opt for a Grand Studio or Emperor Suite each comes equipped with a large screen LCD TV, but that’s not where our relationship with the small screen stops. Both Yorkshire and Granada TV studios are located close to our city centre sites, which explains why famous faces from institutions like Coronation Street and Emmerdale are no strangers to us.
Of course, there are autograph moments to be had outside our walls, and we strongly advise you take advantage of our prime locations, with some of the country’s best bars, boutiques, restaurants, museums and clubs right on your doorstep. Everyone from bands and actors to politicians and cultural leaders makes Leeds and Manchester regular destinations for performances, conferences and relaxation. So it’s easy to imagine who you might spot on your next stay with us.
We’ve undergone a massive six figure investment in order to strengthen our brand, make it easier for our guests to understand our offering and help us further spread the word about aparthotels and we’d like to share the news with you too.
As you may know, we currently operate four luxury aparthotels – a cross between boutique hotels and serviced apartments – and have invested heavily in the company to make them even better for all our guests.
This includes internal improvements such as centralising the booking service and bringing in an experienced new management team who have been working within the hotel industry for over 30 years collectively, with a number of leading brands.
This new investment comes as we prepare to unveil the freshly refurbished Leeds Central aparthotel which will be known as Leeds City West, Leeds 361 will be known as Leeds Headingley.
We’ve had a successful few years, creating four distinctive and luxury aparthotels within four years across two cities – meaning we’ve grown faster in the sector than our bigger rivals. With this new investment we are putting the building blocks into place to allow it to continue to grow even faster. We aim to have 10 hotels within three years. We’ve also increased our team with both new and seasoned hotel professions in order to continue to offer a premium service to our guests.
We’ve had some great feedback from our customers on all aspects of the aparthotels but particularly with regard to the new grab and go breakfasts that offers customers a selection of fresh pastries and fruit to either eat in their rooms or to take with them on departure. This was logical expansion of the pantry system which we already operate – this allows guests to purchase ready made meals, snacks and drinks.
We pride ourselves on keeping to the founding ethos of a ‘luxury home from home’, and welcome customers to stay for any length of time, from a single night to a full year. The blending of a boutique hotel’s style with the convenience and privacy of a serviced apartments means that our apartments can cater for the busy modern businessman – who is forced to work away from home to a family who have come away for a leisurely city-break.
Keep checking our website (www.roomzzz.co.uk) and blog for further updates, and follow us on twitter @Roomzzz.

What makes Roomzzz Serviced Apartments different from existing Boutique Hotels and Accommodation in Leeds?
Below we have listed some of the benefits of Roomzzz Aparthotel compared to existing corporate accommodation, short term lets and serviced apartments in Leeds and Manchester.
If you think you know all about serviced apartments or serviced flats, think again! Roomzzz is a new take on a classic idea. An Aparthotel (also known as an Apart Hotel), is a new concept in serviced accommodation and combines all the best features of a boutique hotel with all the best things about serviced apartments.
Key Worker Accommodation, Flats and Housing.
There are occasions when hospitals, local government agencies and universities require key workers. These workers tend to be on short to medium term contracts, which can be anything between 3 weeks and a year. Where do these people live? This can be a big problem for employers. How can employers find suitable key worker housing and key worker flats which will entice staff to live in Leeds or Manchester rather than London? The answer is Roomzzz Aparthotel. Key worker living has never been so good! With a simple, straightforward pricing structure, Roomzzz provides three aparthotel in Leeds and one in Manchester. Stay from 1 night to 1 year and enjoy our alternative option to standard serviced apartments.
If you have ever had to spend a few nights, or even a few weeks living out of a suitcase because your job demands it, then you will know what a lonely and uncomfortable life it can be! Many hotels simply aren't equipped to accommodate business people for more than a couple of nights. When you stay away from home on business, and require corporate accommodation in Leeds or Manchester, where can you go? Somewhere with the comforts of home would be ideal but corporate flats and corporate housing tend to be let on a minimum of 3 months or 6 month period. If you require corporate accommodation for 4 weeks where can you stay and be comfortable? The answer is simple – Roomzzz Aparthotel. Have your own apartment, your luxury home away from home. Stay at Roomzzz for all the comforts of home with a luxury twist.
Short Term Lets.
There are times when work or personal circumstances can take you away from home. Short term lets are notoriously difficult to find anywhere in the UK, but this is particularly the case in popular cities such as London, Manchester and Leeds. Even if you use the Internet to search for short term accommodation in Leeds or Manchester there will be many that advertise as short term apartments, but in actual fact when you get down to the detail, the letting agents actually consider a short term let to be 6 months. What if you require short term accommodation in Leeds or Manchester but don't want it to cost the Earth? The answer is Roomzzz. Lets face it most of us live in the 4 star lifestyle at home. Why should it be any different when you are away from home, especially if you are looking for an apartment for 3 months. Roomzzz offers luxury 4 star apartments with the convenience and service typical of a hotel.
